Salary Packaging Handbook

The range of benefits made available to staff is determined during discussions with the employer and summarised in a Salary Packaging Handbook prepared by Income Essentials for distribution by the employer to eligible employees.

To serve as the policy on salary packaging, many employers post the finished Handbook on their Intranet for ease of access by employees.

When employees sign the Income Essentials Request Letter seeking employer’s approval to package, they are providing their employer with an acknowledgment that they have read the employer's Salary Package Handbook and also that they have communicated with Income Essentials as to their requirements.
