Motor Vehicle Insurance
Income Essentials, through McCormick Harris Insurance Brokers and Australian Broking Group, has a group motor vehicle policy available with a panel of Insurance Companies that may include: QBE Insurance, CGU, Allianz and Dawes. This provides vehicles under management monthly premiums to be paid directly through the package. Employees may also elect to use their own insurance company, pay the premium up front, and seek reimbursement from their package.
Some of the benefits include:
- Market Value sum insured for your vehicle;
- New replacement vehicle if your vehicle is written off within the first 24 months of its registration;
- Temporary Rental Car if your vehicle is Stolen;
- One excess free windscreen cover per year;
- Low Excesses;
- Low Additional Excesses for Drivers under 25 or inexperienced drivers;
- Comprehensive '24 Hour Accident Assistance' service which includes:
I. FREE pick up and delivery of your vehicle;
II. FREE loan car (delivered to you when your vehicle is picked up);

IV. Lifetime Guarantee on all work.
Additional Insurance Options
As well as our comprehensive insurance program through McCormick Harris Insurance Brokers and Australian Broking Group, we have joined forces with Swann Insurance to provide you with the following products;
Gap Cover insurers the difference between the payout figure on your finance contract and the comprehensive insurance payout if the vehicle is written off. Gap cover must be taken out at the time of finance. There are 4 levels of cover available.
Novated Lease Protection is taken out at the time of finance and covers you in the event of involuntary unemployment. There are 2 benefit options, Repayment cover up to 180 days, or Vehicle Hand back both with a maximum benefit of $15,000.
Extended Warranty can be purchased at anytime during the manufacturer’s warranty. This product simply works as a continuation of the manufactures warranty. If you have a 4 or 5 year lease and your manufactures warranty covers 3 years, way not take out an extended warranty for the final 2 years? This product is transferable if selling the vehicle privately. Extended Warranty cover also includes road side assistance through Assist Australia.
Tyre & Rim is a 3 year cover against the hazards of the road – covering damage caused by Nails, Glass, Potholes & Road debris. This protection can be taken out at anytime. This product covers 2 tyres and 1 rim per year.
