Brendan Elkins Brendan is the General Manager of Income Essentials (Aust). Brendan holds a B.Bus Mgt in Strategic Management with over 25 years of senior executive experience with some of Australia’s largest and most respected businesses. His responsibilities ranged from Human Resources, Industrial Relations to Strategic Management issues. He brings this knowledge of the financial services industry to Income Essentials and is uniquely positioned to utilise these skills of administration and client service at the highest level. Brendan’s accumulated experience and outstanding client service skills, will offer our clients a fresh perspective towards Salary Packaging. Brendan handles our new business enquiries from both employers and employees, he also managers and maintains our existing employer client relationships. Brendan is responsible for the preparation of new packages, package adjustments and annual package analysis for all employee clients. Brendan organises the vehicle procurement and vehicle finance as required by our clients. Brendan has recently completed his Certificate 4 in Finance and is able to arrange all types of finance including home and business loans.

Andy Lay Andy Lay, B.Bus.FinPlan recently joined Income Essentials in a Client Services role where he is responsible for the administration and management of clients. Andy is a recent graduate who keen to put his passion  for financial planning into action, and his enthusiasm is second to none!   Andy's extensive retail management experience has equip him with superior customer service skills, and Andy will be happy to help with any inquiry you have in order to provide the best possible outcomes for clients.

Jenny Brown Jenny is the Financial Controller for Income Essentials. She runs her own Financial Advising Practice and is Head of Strategy for Income Essentials. She is a SMSF Specialist Adviser™ (SSA), with over 18 years experience in the financial planning industry. She holds the Diploma of Financial Planning and is recognised as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) by the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Jenny is a founding member of the Superannuation Professionals Association of Australia (SPAA), an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, member of the NTAA (National Tax and Accountants Association) and a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Jenny is an Authorised Representative of Professional Investment Services; her advice covers a wide spectrum of investment and strategic opportunities, including both innovative and traditional products. Her accreditation and specialist knowledge in the Financial Planning industry and in particular the Self Managed Superannuation field sets her apart from her peers. Jenny’s concentration is in the creation and management of long term wealth for her clients whilst ensuring their short term wealth is both protected and maximised. Jenny is able to assist all Income Essentials clients with their Financial Planning & Risk Insurance requirements.

Elly Parker Elly Parker, BA (Media&Comm), AdvDipBus joined Income Essentials as our Practice Manager in March 2010.  Elly is responsible for the overall running of the office, building and maintaining client relationships, and all marketing and communication activities. Elly comes to Income Essentials from a Professional Services background and has 9 years of extensive experience of high level executive support, and has performed marketing and communications functions for both small and large organisations.

Evelyn McLaren (Company Accountant) Evelyn joined the Income Essentials team in 2007 as our Company Accountant. She has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Computing, a Diploma of Financial Services and is a Certified Practicing Accountant and member of both the CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants) and NTAA (National Tax and Accountants Association) and has a Tax Agents Licence. Evelyn is responsible for ensuring that the administration system Income Essentials runs, is compliant from an Audit and Accounting overview. She works closely with both Brendan and Megan and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to Income Essentials. Evelyn also works with a large Public Accountancy Practice managing a wide variety of clients ensuring that their businesses and accounts are compliant with the ATO guidelines.

Julie Hyde   (Business Development Manager) Julie joined the Essentials team in 2008 as our Business Development Manager, she has a Certificate IV in Coaching, Diploma of Coaching. She comes to us from a strong finance background having worked within one of the 4 major banks for 20 years. More recently she has been consulting to a range of corporate and Small-Medium Enterprise's (SME) in regards to leadership, team and client service proposition. Julie’s focus is on developing the skills systems and process for the individual to be successful within the business.
